🔄 Teaching backward to move forward

Well, influenza hit my house this past week 😷 I have had at least one of my three kids home from school every day. And while I haven't been able to do some of the deep thinking work as I am creating my newest deck, I did make some progress on a few smaller projects, made a few batches of soup 🥣, and watched a few movies while typing.

Thanks to the grandparents, we were able to use the birthday gift we had given our oldest daughter and see the production of "Hamilton." To be honest, I've never been really interested in history, but this story was magnetic. We talked through all the different themes, like writing your way out, and how complex all of the characters were. And of course the music is pretty catchy.

Side note: Wouldn't it be fun to see a full production (in Hamilton-style) of "Nursing in the Crimean War," the stories of Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole. 💜

This is the second week of the newly formatted newsletter, enjoy!
